What to send
- Structural drawings: framing plans, elevations, sections and schedules, as PDF or DWG
- Architectural and mechanical sets if miscellaneous metals or roof frames are in scope
- Specifications, if available
- Your bid sheet or estimating template, so the numbers land in your format
- Units and standard: imperial/AISC or metric/Eurocode
- Your deadline and anything you specifically need or do not need counted
Large sets: a link to your project portal, Dropbox, OneDrive or WeTransfer works best.
What happens next
- We look at the set and confirm the scope: what is in, what is out, units and format.
- You get a quote and a delivery date. Nothing is counted before you say go.
- The takeoff is done in Bluebeam and checked line by line against the drawings.
- You receive the workbook, the marked-up PDFs and a list of open questions for your engineer.
